Meet your CNC Representatives for Europe

The European regional meeting in Cascais in 2015 was a great meeting with many insights and a lot of great discussions. We spoke almost only amongst NCs, with the I.O. and with the College admissions people. In addition to this, we now have the opportunity to share our interests with the CNC reps representing the NCs on the International Board. Through the CNC reps NC views now directly influence its decision making. How ever close or far that is to your NC reality, lets work on making it closer.

During the Europe Region Meeting, I look forward to exploring our various National Committees’ realities further, working on pressing issues, i.e. as ALWAYS the selection of students for UWC, and thinking outside the box.

The CNC is the representative of the NC voice on UWC governance bodies. As such, it can amplify the NC concerns and perspective, but also have insight into the challenges other UWC actors have, and provide as a connection between all.

I am very much looking forward to connecting with all European NCs again to share our experiences, learn from each other and together brainstorm for how to make our work and the UWC movement better. I also look forward to all the lunches, dinners and breaks because, somehow, they still feel like short returns to UWC days.
